My Curriculum Vitae
Short Profile and Research Interest
Professor Garuda Fujii serves as Professor at Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University, leading research on structural engineering, numerical analysis, and optimum design. My research focuses on topology optimization, aiming to develop structural modeling, fast evaluation of structures, constraints and optimizers for designing innovative functional structures. My concern is to develop topology optimizations for solving difficult optimum design problems including multimodality, high ratios of material properties, interdependence between design variables without trials and errors for realizing ``Human out of the loop'' in topology optimization. My work applies these methods to wave systems (e.g., electromagnetic, optical, and acoustic cloaking) and diffusion systems (e.g., thermal and electrical illusion technologies).
